How we get from here to a first season
The club has applied to Football Victoria and is in talks with the Greater Dandenong Council about a home ground in Dandenong North. This is the plan from where we stand today.
The first two years
Three phases, in order. Each one has to happen before the next can.
1
Phase one
0 to 6 months
- Finalise club establishment
- Register with Football Victoria
- Recruit players, coaches and volunteers
- Build strong support from the community
2
Phase two
6 to 12 months
- Secure a permanent home ground
- Enter our first Football Victoria competition
- Compete in the first season
3
Phase three
12 to 24 months
- Grow club structure
- Grow our volunteer and committee structure
- Increase sponsorships and community engagement
Further out
3 to 10 years from now, if the first phases land.
- Become the primary club at the local reserve
- Develop pavilion and canteen presence
- A stronger community hub through football
- Compete at higher league levels
What phase one needs
Registration, kit, equipment and ground hire all have to be paid for before a first match can happen.
- Football Victoria registration, affiliation and competition fees
- Player and team registration costs
- Training and match-day facility hire
- Footballs, training equipment and other essential gear
- Playing kits and uniforms
- Insurance and club administration costs
- Coaching and player development
